Please follow these directions carefully:

Prepare a complete list of your French organ repertoire beginning with the 17th century and progressing through the 20th. Highlight those works which you will be willing to perform in recital and performance seminars. In the latter case please list complete titles with correct inflection markings, opus numbers, movements, complete name of composer and composer's dates. It is very important that this information be complete because it will be used for preparing recital programs.

Send this list by email attachment to both Gene Bedient and Jesse Eschbach at the email addresses listed below. Submitting incomplete information for the pieces you are willing to perform in recital and performance seminars will disqualify your application.

A very important announcement about the public recitals:

The SIFOS faculty will monitor the progress of participants and will decide by Wednesday of each week, who of the participants are qualified to perform in the public recitals. The level of SIFOS public performances is held to a high standard. For applicants who are currently students, one recommendation is required from your major professor. The evaluation should focus on your level and ability as a performer (technical level and musical maturity), your commitment to and interest in French repertoire of various styles, and your willingness and ability to cooperate with others. This recommendation should be mailed directly to Dr. Eschbach. Please return this application and all supporting documents no later than January 15, 2009 to:
