Pipe Organs
Making people understand exactly what happens at Bedient Pipe Organ is not as easy as you’d think. In a world filled with factories and assembly lines, the idea of a small group of craftspeople hunched over workbenches is difficult to grasp. But the fact is that pipe organs must be hand made. Bedient Pipe Organ has been making instruments this way for more than 35 years.
The masterpieces you see here are built one at a time. Each board is individually selected, carefully dimensioned and hand finished. Our pipes begin as a vat of 700-degree molten lead and tin, which is poured on a marble table and cast into sheets. With each piece they create, Bedient employees place their signature on their work, their pride clearly evident in our more than 80 opuses nationwide.
Additionally, whether it’s the German blower, English keyboard or American combination action, every component must be of the highest quality to insure the instrument will last for generations. When superior materials are combined with excellent workmanship, the result can be nothing less than astounding.
This is the kind of attention required to produce some of the best looking and sounding pipe organs in the world.
