How we build your pipe organ:
A cooperative process.

Initial contact/needs assessment

This step is where we get to know one another. We will visit your worship space to document dimensions and consult with you regarding the details of your new pipe organ. Our discussions will focus on budget, scheduling, room size/acoustics, music style of your congregation and other architectural elements. Our fee for consultations is limited to payment for transportation, food and lodging only.

Organ design

Based on the consultation, your pipe organ will be custom-designed to exactly match your requirements as well as enhance your worship space musically and visually.

Construction-in shop

After all specifications are reviewed and approved, Bedient craftspeople will use the finest materials available to hand build your pipe organ. The organ will first be built in its entirety at our Nebraska shop, then disassembled, packed and shipped to your location.

Construction-on site

Most of the people who created the parts for your organ will be on hand to unpack and install the instrument in your worship space. Final tuning and voicing is the finishing touch to completing your new pipe organ.
