It’s the Sound.

Bedient pipe organs by virtue of their visual beauty give the listener an advance clue that the sound is going to be magnificent. Our look draws people in, our sound captivates them. We’ve captured a new American sound, encompassing nuances of European persuasions.

Bedient’s service division is here to care for all pipe organs. We offer rebuilds, restorations, additions and tuning/ maintenance.

Gene Bedient of Lincoln, Nebraska founded the Bedient Pipe Organ Company in 1969. Our new state-of-the-art shop is currently located just outside of Lincoln. Nearly all work is done in-house combining time-honored and modern organbuilding techniques. Bedient artisans are dedicated to perfection. Churches, concert halls and private residences across America proudly own the Bedient name.

“For reliability, low maintenance, beautiful sound, and aesthetic beauty, it would be hard to beat a fine mechanical action organ. I have played many such instruments and those being built in Nebraska by the Bedient Company are of quality as fine as any built today.” – Dr. Craig Cramer, Professor of Organ, Notre Dame University, Notre Dame, IN

  1. Listening to your fine recording of one of your Bedient organs again reminded me of the privilege it was to play your tracker organ built in the Baroque style at St. Andrew’s for thirteen years. Thank you for providing that opportunity with your outstanding instrument.

  2. Hello…Thanks for the nice read, keep up the interesting posts..what a nice Saturday

  3. Your French Baroque instrument at St Marks Episcopal in Grand Rapids Michigan (now in Texas) is something everyone should hear. I used to travel to Grand Rapids to attend services and hear this beautiful organ. Sadly it was sold and moved. My great loss.
